• Manual Handling & People Moving and Handling Courses

Manual Handling task is the transporting or supporting of a load (including the lifting, putting down, pushing, pulling, carrying or moving thereof) by hand or by bodily force.

People Moving and Handling course is designed to provide the participants with the knowledge and skill they need to carry out a Manual/People Handling Risk Assessment and to move Clients and loads safety. This course is run in accordance with the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work 2005 and Manual Handling Regulations 1993 and 2007.

The aim of these courses is to provide you with the knowledge, skills and attitude to be able to perform Manual Handling and People Moving & Handling tasks correctly. Manual handling injuries include back injuries, cuts to hands, broken toes, twisted knees and many more. It is therefore important to use the techniques we provide to help prevent injury and ensure quality of life is not affected.
